You hate me! You really hate me!

A couple of interesting results from the Hockey News' recent poll of 283 players: Joe Louis Arena was voted the toughest arena for visiting teams to play in, and Nicklas Lidstrom was voted the second-most respected player in the league (behind Joe Sakic and ahead of Brendan Shanahan; Chris Chelios tied Martin Brodeur for fourth).

The Rangers' Sean Avery, meanwhile, was voted the NHL's most-hated (Nashville's Jordin Tootoo was second) AND most-overrated player.

"I'm shocked," Avery said of that "most-hated" distinction. "I would have been disappointed if it wasn't me."

• Avery again, after a Sunday scrap with Toronto's Darcy Tucker: "Darcy has always been a whiner. You say you don't like his hair, and he'll be upset."

hehe itchy, ich wills ja nicht provozieren, aber die liga besteht nicht nur aus wings und blues fans ;-) Das heisst dass tootoo auch sonst nicht gerade beliebt ist!andererseits, ich denke wie höher oben auf der liste, desto effektiver, also auch ein kompliment! wobei avery hier eine ausnahme bildet... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/fire.gif" alt="" />
