Schweiz feiert einen 5:0 Kantersieg gegen Kasachstan

Die Schweizer erledigte die Pflichtaufgabe gegen die Kasachen souverän. Tobias Geisser eröffnete den Torreigen nach fünf Minuten, Fabrice Herzog traf in der 27. Minute zum 2:0, vier Minuten später erhöhte Damien Riat auf 3:0 und im Schlussdrittel schossen die Schweizer noch zwei Tore.

Bei den Kasachen stand wie bisher immer Andrey Shutov im Tor. Bei den Schweizer kehrte Leonardo Genoni ins Tor zurück, Janis Moser fehlte weil nicht fit. Damien Riat rückte ins Team, Kevin Fiala kam zu seinem Debut und Sven Senteler war der 13. Stürmer.

Die Schweizer brauchten einige Minuten um ins Spiel zu kommen aber dann fand das Geschehen meistens vor Shutov statt. In der fünften Minute kam Haas zum Abschluss, Verteidiger Tobias Geisser war gut gefolgt und verwertete den Rebound zum 1:0. Wenige Sekunden später wiederholte sich das ganze beinahe, nach dem Schuss von Kukan parierte Shutov diesmal den Nachschuss von Riat. Die Schweizer konnten eine erste Überzahl nicht ausnützen, weil das Powerplay zu periferisch war. In der 19. Minute wurde Malgin steil geschickt, Shutov legte sein Veto ein.

Die Schweiz startete furios ins Mitteldrittel nach 30 Sekunden bediente Niederreiter Corvi der am glänzend reagierenden Shutov scheiterte, der wenig später auch einen Versuch von Malgin stoppte. Die Schweiz drückte weiterhin und in der 28. Minute stand Fabrice Herzog richtig um den Weitschuss von Fora zum 2:0 abzulenken. Eine Minute später hätten die Kasachen beinahe verkürzt, Genoni parierte zuerst gegen Mikhailis und auch den Nachschuss von Mukhametov. Kurz nach Spielhälfte kam Richard hinter dem Tor an den Puck er bediente Damien Riat der im Slot stehend zum 3:0 traf. In der 37. Minute kombinierten sich die Schweizer herrlich durch, doch der Treffer von Glauser zählte wegen einer Torhüterbehinderung von Fiala nicht.

Nach 30 Sekunden im Schlussdrittel kamen die Schweizer zu Ihrer zweiten Überzahl und diesmal dauerte es genau 14 Sekunden bis Nino Niederreiter nach dem Pass von Malgin mit seinem Direktschuss zum 4:0 traf. Die Schweizer spielten weiterhin Powerplay auch bei numerischem Gleichsten und nach einem Vorstoss von Senteler stand Romain Loeffel richtig um den Apbraller zum 5:0 zu verwerten.

Wie erwartet gab sich die Schweizer Nationalmannschaft auch gegen die Kasachen keine Blösse, man dominierte von A-Z. Drei Spiele, neun Punkte und die Tabellenführung der Gruppe B sind der Lohn dafür. Leonardo Genoni feierte seinen zweiten Shut-out und die Schweiz hat nach drei Spielen immer noch kein Tor kassiert. Drei souveräne Siege, welche für die Reife dieser Mannschaft sprechen, am Donnerstag folgt mit den Slowaken der erste grosse Brocken.

Tobias Geisser: "Solche Spiele sind nie einfach, du musst von Anfang an konzentriert sein, sie standen hinten kompakt und lauerten auf Konter, aber diese konnten wir unterbinden, haben über 60 Minuten dominiert und in der richtigen Momenten die Tore geschossen. Wir versuchen es dem Gegner mit einem guten Forecheck möglichst schwer zu machen, die Verteidiger sind aggressiv an der eigenen blauen Linie und wenn der Gegner in unserer Zone ist versuchen wir Ihnen möglichst wenig Zeit und Raum zu lassen, auf den Körper zu spielen. Die offensive beginnt hinten und heute hatten wir meistens den Puck. Mein erster Treffer an einer WM war ein spezieller Moment, ich hatte schon ein paar Chancen umso schöner dass es heute im meinem 17. WM Spiel geklappt hat. Solche Spiele können sehr mühsam werden wenn du das Skore nicht eröffnest, dann fängst du dir noch einen blöden Konter ein, daher immer gut wenn du schon früh in Führung gehen kannst. Wir haben uns vorgenommen von Spiel zu Spiel besser zu werden, gegen Norwegen harzte es ein wenig, heute haben wir versucht über 60 Minuten konzentriert zu bleiben und dies gelang uns gut. Mit Hischier und Siegenthaler stossen zwei Supertypen zur Mannschaft die auch schon länger dabei sind, Ihre Erfahrung ist wertvoll. Wichtig war nicht nur dass wir geduldig sondern auch im System geblieben sind und wir es nicht mit Einzelaktionen versuchen. Beim annullierten Tor durch Glauser wollten wir es vielleicht zu schön machen, aber manchmal muss man auch ein wenig Spass haben.*

Patrick Fischer: "Besser hätten wir nicht starten können, wenn man uns gesagt hätte das wir neun Punkte und 15 Tore geschossen und keines erhalten ist es klar. Heute hat mit die Art und Weise gefallen, wir hatten uns vorgenommen über 60 Minuten richtig zu spielen. Der erste Forechecker setzt schon Druck auf, jeder hat nach hinten gearbeitet, keiner hat beschissen, dies macht es auch für die Verteidiger einfacher und was aufs Tor kam hat Genoni hervorragend pariert. Defensiv war es sehr gut und offensiv haben wir keinen Zirkus veranstaltet, wir versuchten side Scheibe aufs Tor zu bringen mit Verkehr im Slot. Wir wissen alle dass man diese drei Siege von uns erwarten konnte und wir wissen dass jetzt die schwierigen Aufgaben gegen die Slowaken, Tschechen, Kanadier und Letten kommen, dort wird es anders sein. Janis Moser war gestern krank, auch heute hatte er noch ein wenig Fieber, jetzt hoffe ich dass er gut schlafen kann, dann sehen wir ob er aufs Eis kann oder pausieren muss. Wir versuchen diverse Kombinationen und haben uns entschieden Fiala mit Malgin aufzustellen, ein recht gefährliches Duo. Leider wurde die Linie Bertschy, Richard, Thürkauf auseinandergerissen, daher kam Bertschy nach vorne. Wir haben schon eine Idee wo Hischier spielen wird, ihr werdet es morgen im Training sehen."
