Deutschland mit Kantersieg gegen Italien

Das Spiel in Helsinki war sehr einseitig und war schon nach dem Startdrittel entschieden, der Rest war noch eine bessere Trainingspartie. Deutschland gewann mit 9:4.

Bei den Deutschen stand heute wieder Niederberger im Tor und Kawanke und Karachun kamen zu Ihrem Debut an dieser WM. Bei Italien kam Davide Fadani von HC Lugano zu seinem ersten Einsatz an dieser WM.

Leider war es für Fadani ein Spiel zum vergessen. In der fünften Minute schoss Alexander Karachun aus der Drehung und erwischte ihn zwischen den Schoner. Zwei Minuten später erhielt Verteidiger Kai Wissmann zu viel Freiheiten er tauchte vor Fadani auf und bezwang ihn zum 2:0. Die letzte Aktion von Fadani war der dritte Treffer in der 14. Minute durch Yashin Eliz der einen Schuss von Bittner ablenkte. Fazio erlöste ihn. In der 18. Minute erhöhte Daniel Fischbuch mit einem präzisen Schuss in die Nahe Ecke, McNally kam eben von der Strafbank aufs Eis zurück.

Nach dem ersten Drittel war natürlich jegliche Spannung weg. Deutschland schoss den fünften Treffer in der 26. Minute durch Lukas Reichel der in Überzahl perfekt von Noebels eingesetzt wurde. 36 Sekunden später lenkte Tommaso Traversa einen Schuss von Miglioranzi zum 5:1 ab. In der 35. Minute ging Daniel Fischbuch im Slot vergessen er verwertete das Zuspiel von Reichel zum 6:1.

Kaum angespielt erhöhte Yashin Eliz nach dem Zuspiel von Michaelis auf 7:1. Das Torfestival ging weiter eine Minute später ging Alexander Karachun vergessen und traf mit seinem Direktschuss zum 8:1. In der 48. Minute kleines Erfolgserlebnis für die Azzurri, Petan mit dem Steilpass für Luca Frigo der alleine vor Niederberger auftauchte und zum 8:2 traf. Bei der ersten Überzahl der Azzurri verkürzte Daniel Mantenuto auf 8:3. Doch dies war noch nicht der letzte Treffer, zwei Minuten vor Schluss traf Samuel Soramis zum 9:3. Dies war aber noch nicht der Schlusspunkt, den letzten Treffer schossen die Azzurri durch Alex Petan 19 Sekunden vor Schluss.
